Brianne Ingram

Brianne was born in Long Beach, CA and raised in Carson, CA. She received her B.A. in Communication Studies with Cum Laude from California State University, Northridge and earned her M.A. degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Performance Studies at CSUN. She was a Teaching Associate where she taught public speaking, taught and curated a sports-related course, and served as the President of Performance Ensemble. Brianne grew up loving sports as a child and played basketball throughout her life. Her passions include writing about sports, debating about sports, eating while watching sports and reporting breaking news. Although entertaining, Brianne believes that sports play a vital role within a democratic society in order to bridge people together to build community.

The CIF Southern Section Division 2AA playoffs kicked off last night where the Saugus Centurions fought hard against the San Gabriel Academy Eagles, but ultimately lost 59-49 in the postseason opener. The CIF Southern Section Division 2AA first-round playoffs began on Thursday night where the Valencia Vikings rolled past the El Dorado Golden Hawks to win 52-19 in the playoff opener.
